Maple Sweet Tea

 

Ingredients:

  • 6 tea bags

  • a pinch of baking soda

  • 2 cups boiling water

  • ¾ cup Mount Cabot Maple maple syrup

  • 6 cups cold water plus more ice

  • lemon slices to garnish

 

A refreshing twist to your summer sipping tea.

 

1. Sprinkle the baking soda into the bottom of a 64 oz heat proof pitcher. Add the boiling water and tea bags and steep thoroughly, about 15 minutes. 

2. Remove the tea bags, then add the cold water and maple syrup. Refrigerate a few hours and serve with ice and lemon garnish.  Don’t worry, you can always add more maple to taste!
