Slow Cooker Maple Pulled Pork

If you’re like us and rarely consider what’s for dinner before its 6:30 and tummies are rumbling, this recipe will kick your weeknight meals up a notch. Just load up your crockpot with a few simple ingredients in the morning, and by the time you come home, your house will be filled with the frangrance of a delicious and hassle-free meal.


  • 2┬álb boneless pork shoulder
  • 1/2 cup Mount Cabot Maple Syrup
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinagar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon chili powder

Cut the pork shoulder in half and trim excess fat if desired. Place the onions on the bottom of the slow cooker and the pork shoulder on top. Whisk together the maple syrup, cider vinegar, salt and chili powder and pour over the pork. Cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is fall apart tender. Great on sandwiches, in tacos or by itself!
